Description: The Statewide Landcover and Trees Study (SLATS) landcover mapping involves several stages of automated and semi-automated image classification techniques, together with visual interpretation. Water, bare ground and shadow (unclassified) masks are created for each scene using spectral classification and visual interpretation.
