Project Description

Our research demonstrated that small businesses are unable to reach and communicate to job seekers in an effective matter. Inspired by the “Nudge unit” and rising research in behavioural insights, we have developed a simple job description generation tool that connects to existing systems. Small business owners/managers can then submit their job requirements into our tool to generate the optimal job description and ad for their role.

Data Story

There are two million small businesses that drive 44 percent of national employment and contribute 343 billion dollars to our economy, yet 30% of our small businesses have job vacancies they can’t fill. Survey data shows that 77% of businesses are struggling to find any applicants or ones with the right skills. There are over 730 000 job seekers
By understanding This two sided marketplace, we have identified behaviours that small business owners exhibit that we can help solve in an easy, accessible, simple and timely way.
