Project Description
- EMPOWER - Our idea is to empower the communities and to improve their engagement with councils.
- CONNECT - Our idea also connects different community members through events and activities to improve their health and well-being.
- ENABLE - Our idea also enable the councils to make better decisions using user generated data.
Data Story
We identified the assets data of local councils and the addresses of these assets in maps API and used them in our application to display the nearest assets to the user based on their location. We have used local councils' data of parks, open areas and community centers to visualise them using maps API.
